Ysolt Clairvaux

Ysolt is one of the very few people that stumbled into the siblings' life and never quite left. At first, the young elezen should've been another victime of Talani's pickpocket habits only to end up in Talani's bed the next morning with Kotyan making him breakfast.While nothing romantic ever settled between Ysolt and Talani, it didn't take long for the two auris to grow fond of the gullible elezen. Talani loves to tease him and sometimes sing with him while Kotyan loves sharing stories of far away places. Both Malqir are especially protective of Ysolt who seemed to be prone to fall into trouble as easily as Talani start them.Ysolt is one of the first people outside the Malqir that Kotyan and Talani consider as kin. They often babysit one or more Ysolt's namazu when his travel cannot include one (or all) of them, which is NOT Talani's favorite perks of this friendship.

Ezykiel is Kotyan's ex-"friend with benefits".
They started as good friends and at some point they started sleeping together with no strings attached. But as time passed, Kotyan started to develop feeling which were not being returned. Kotyan assured him that it was fine and that they could just continue as they were.That's when Talani took the matter in her hands. Since Kotyan made her promise to never harm in ANY way Ezykiel, she just had a little chat with him and convinced him that breaking things off with Kotyan was far less cruel than continue this when Kotyan was definitely attached.Despite breaking things on the intimate side, they're still friends even if a little more distants

Melchior is a mysterious scholar that saved Talani's life after Kotyan and her were attacked in Coerthas by some overzealous Garleans soldiers. He never said his name to Kotyan, disappearing as quickly as he appeared in the snow.Kotyan is still trying to find him, to be able to properly thank him for saving his sister's life, far too aware that he would be a very different person if he had lost Talani.

    ► K O T Y A N  Despite his tall stature and his stern face, Kotyan is a very kind person but he also knows that, as an Au Ra, most people will fear him. He just accepted that fact and welcomes those who aren't scared by his appearance. But he is also more than willing to use his intimidating appearance to discourage anyone who mean any harm to the ones he cares about.  He can be quite shy when faced with open affection from strangers and, while his face rarely betrays his emotion, his tail is a big give away. When he's flustered, it will wrap around one of his legs in a comfort gesture.  Still, Kotyan is very affectionate with close friends and family. The most loosened up you will see him is when he's interacting with his sister, Talani. Once you learn to know him, you easily how he and his sister are more alike than people think: he can be a sassy one that will deliver you the sickest burn with a deadpan face when you least expect it. Always in good fun tho.

T A L A N I ◄   Talani Malqir is Kotyan's older sister even if most people assume she's the cute little sister, especially when Kotyan stops ruffians from reaching her. Little did they know that Kotyan is mostly protecting their life because while he leaves them with bruises, Talani wouldn't hesitate to cut a thing or two if they just touch her without her consent.Where Kotyan is kind and calm, Talani is wild and cunning. Don't let her soft smile fool you or you will lose your coins at best… your life at worst. But if you're to her liking, you might gain a night or two of fun. Just don't expect more because you're bond to be disappointed.People are often surprised when they reunite after some time because she usually tries to sneak an attack on him and they fight what probably seems a real fierce fight before he trips her and laughs or she manages to grab at his horns and lift herself to kiss his nose.
